I liked the look of those bike lanes that were physically separated from the car traffic. Looked to me that when you travelled in the bike lanes just marked on the road....YIKES!....you were taking your life in danger mixing it up with the trucks and cabs.
I don't live in the city but I hope for everybody that does, it will continue to get more bike friendly!
As usual the question on all these improvements for bikes is: how will it be paid for. So much of road construction and maintnence is paid for by tax on fuel (rikki feels that tax!). Maybe they will have to charge those of us on a bike for our carbs!!!!! lol
