An interesting note...

I've been pretty busy around here for the past couple of days....

Tomorrow morning, a photographer and reporter from a local paper are coming to interview me. Because "I make cards".

I have been making cards (starting with Christmas cards) since the early 70's. With the advent of the computer I now make all my cards, for every occasion. And some I sell in local shops which is how I landed this interview. I don't know how many people they might be interviewing for this, but it's kind of exciting! 4 years ago I was interviewed by another paper because they found my website.

I'll have to let you know how it goes :) As of now, I'm not sure when it will show up or how much of a part I will have in it.

Claudia! I'm so excited for you. What a thrill. Let me know which day its coming out so I can get the paper. THe card you gave me of the butterfly was beautiful. The photos you have posted on your profile are beautiful. Are those some of the pics you use? How about Christmass cards? Maybe you could post some of them. I might want to get them for myself this year. You'll get quite a bit of business out of that. Don't forget to post the article here and on your website too. lol. Listen to me telling you what to do.

I also would like to see some of your work. Your blog and photos are equally beautiful, and please, post a link to the article if it comes out in a form that can be linked.

I almost hate to mention it, but one word of caution: We do want to be careful to observe Eons TOU - maybe just an example posted and a hint that PMs could be sent if people want more info? I think that would be allowed.

I got into [minor] trouble in another of my groups by allowing a member to post what amounted to an ad for a book she had written. I didn't see anything wrong with it, but some other group members didn't think it was appropriate and mentioned it to the powers-that-be, so just sayin.....

Thanks! The interview seemed to go well with the only snag being the reporter's cat allergy *grin* It is supposed to be in the Sunday after Thanksgiving...he was interviewing a few card makers :) I can certainly post a photo of my work...it's not anything different than what I do now. And when the article comes out I'll mention and you can PM me :)
