Hmmmmm....well let's see.....I live alone so the housework slave would be...me!.....but housework to me is relaxing so I don't mind doing it---

Yup, me too.

I can only dream of the day housework becomes relaxing.....lol.....I do it all...and it is on a dead run most times...I try and savor my days off because my work days are quite long....I cram that dang cleaning in between squandering time on here...lol...oh well...

i t--it's relaxing to me 'cause I don't have to answer the telephone call from an irate parent(work related)--I don't have to run across the building to see what my supervisor wants(work related as well)--I'm not out knocking on the door of a person whom I do not know only to let them know they've been reported for having abused/neglected their child(ren)....so to me running the vacuum, dusting, picking up after myself is all relaxing--it's done in the comfort of my home on my schedule :::smiling:::

well...That would be me....but, guess what ? The dogs dont seem to mind, if I dont get around to dusting, or vacuuming.
They only care if, I miss their dinner time.
Which is almost ritualistic for me....
I am, my own slave....but some days, I just dont do a thing, and put it off for as long as I can.

I am the designated house cleaner since I live alone, but I do it when I feel like it as things need doing..as in, I'm sticking to the kitchen floor. Not really....I try to keep things neat, but I really do hate to dust.

We all pitch in - my husband, my daughter, me, my son (if he's asked).

married and living with three daughters.....i am the ONLY one who cleans the house...unless i b**ch and nag for help....my 13 year old daughter does dishes during the week, cleans the cat litter daily and is responsible for keeping her room clean...other than that, the rest is up to me, including picking up after everyone! Dishes laying around, husbands clutter, kids toys and crap left out...yep even the dog toys and cats toys left layin about is left up to me! My husbands excuse is "hey i work all day" soooooooooo.......what....cuz im a homemaker i don't?? I would love to see HIM stay home for a week and take care of a demanding three year old AND keep this house spotless and up to my standards....i know for a fact he couldnt do it! lol
And when do I get a day off? NEVER....he gets Saturdays and Sundays off to do whatever he likes...me....i still have a husband and three kids, five demanding cats and a dog to take care of and a house to try to keep under control so that it isnt a pig sty by Monday!
