This is a great site. I refer my students to it for grammar and vocabulary review. They love it, and it really does help.

I got going, and gave 1500....then the power went out. No joke. Now I have to reset the electric clocks.....didn't I just do that a couple of nights ago??????
Oh, no, HB! But glad to hear you donated 1500. Good show! I have donated thousands and whenever I want a little mental stimulation, this is where I go. The neat thing with it, I think, is that if you get the question wrong, it repeats it a little later so you have the chance to 'recall' the correct answer and therefore learn the correct answer. I was amazed at how many Italian and German words I could figure out correctly even though I took only French and Spanish in school. Once you learn the roots of words, the romance languages are pretty much alike. Now the math, that's my challenge! LOL
I've spent the last hour! testing my vocabulary and gave over 3,000 grains of rice.
My teacher friend and I combined on the vocabulary for over 10,000 grains. More importantly, we had many students - both regular classroom (mine) and the 5/6 Gifted & Talented class (hers) go to the website and test their knowledge.
