Hi Blueman21, first I want to welcome you to the group. Second I want you to calm down and not be so worried. I am very sorry you were diagnosed with diabetes and believe me I know how that feels, I've had it over fifteeen years. But we make the best of it and we survive. You will too. You came to the right place. You need support right now to not feel depressed about this and to know you are not alone. This group is a boatload of diabetics all ready to help you with questions, and help you to feel good about yourself in spite of the diabetes. Your life is going to change a little but it won't be all bad. You have to eat better now and exwecise (I know that's a dirty word) and possibly take medication or else eventually will. But for every problem that comes up for you now one of us or all of us has been there and we can help. Welcome.

Welcome to the group, blueman. You will see as you read the different post, that we are all learning in this group and trying to help each other. Ask anything and surely one of us has been there and done that or will at least steer you in the right direction.
Watch your diet and exercise. Keep a mental note or write down which foods seem to run up you blood sugar level. There is a post on here about low blood sugar and high blood sugar symptoms. Read that post and pay attention to the different symptoms. If you have been put on medications, check up on the symptoms of low blood sugar and what to do if you think it is low. Sometimes when you are put on medication, it may be too strong and drop your blood level too low so keep an eye on that until you get your medication regulated.
You'll be fine. We will be here to help you.

Welcome to the group. It seems I'm newly diagnosed but it's been about a year that I got the definitive diagnosis. I'm sure the tips and support you get here will be very helpful.
