well in my opinion i think Prayer is what we need for our country and our leader.
i wasnt aware that this group was restricted to only( aethiests) as the 1 person suggested that Valius had posted on the wrong group .maybe im confused here. I assumed we were Obama supporters regardless

I'm not an Atheist and I'm not a Christian. I took the post for what it was, sincere wishes from a person who is a believer. I'm probably closer to the Atheist label (I honor Mystery) than Christian and I did not find it offensive at all. I guess if there had been some hard core salesmanship for a brand of religion, I might have been upset. That's not what I saw here.

Sorry, I did not know that a beautiful photo would upset so many people. I did not intend to push my beliefs on others, like Denny said, my beliefs are between me and the God I believe in. I just meant to embrace my friends here, to invoke love for my fellow man/women/child or anyone else that would listen!

The photo is beautiful. I'm sure the thought was very genuine. Quoting Scripture in a non-spiritual venue makes me feel that we are being sold. Not all of us believe that the Bible is the "word" of God. God speaks to me in my heart, not through the pages of a revered spiritual document.
