I have 5 prs. One construction boots, which I wear around the house here, when it's muddy or rainy. They seem to hold up pretty good doing chores, and working in the garden. One pr. of dressy Cowboy boots, Red, with fringe, One pr. of Tan casual boots. Two pair of shoe boots...one in brown, & one pair in Black.
I have one pair of brownish tan casual boots, one pair of brown dress boots, two pair of black high heeled boots, one pair of ankle boots in black,and i will be shopping for new boots this season. I wear them with jeans or skirts.
Well, I thought I wasn't a shoe lover, but I'm realizing that I do have boots--hiking boots (most important!), tall dressy boots, Sorels for playing or working in the snow, cheap slipons for getting the mail on snowy days, and cowgirl boots--so that's 5 pairs!
Four pair of work type boot, one even purchased new and worn to glove leather suppleness, unfortunately, the soles are bald and slick. The rest rotate, one walks in the mud while the other two dry out (in winter). And one pair of sort of cowboy boots in plain black leather for going out. Looking at buying another new pair for winter.
Wow you guys like your boots!!!....I have one pair of ankle boots....and the rest of my foot wardrobe is "shoes"....and just like the ones of you who told about your surprise of how many you own...I started counting my shoes and I have probably 12 pairs that I wear for whichever outfit I have that they go with...I know that's probably a small amount in comparison to many....but I do just fine with my dozen pairs,,,,lol
I pair of work boots, 1 pair of winter hikers, 1 pair of Sorels for super cold and deep snow, 1 cheap pair of winter boots for taking out the trash on snowy days, and 1 pair of wellington type for mud and spraying chemicals etc. Almost forgot, a pair of red rain boots that I rarely wear--the laces won't stay tied.
