For The Love Of Money?................

11/4/09.............after the humiliation of getting my hair cut, and then the humiliating depostition hearing, I feel betrayed by our country and the justice system like never before. The third party whom killed my wife was the neligent and criminal party, yet it is I and my families whom suffer one travesty after another. And now this betrayal of my own values, all in the name of justice or monies. I don't feel like the same man I was until the 23rd of last month. Now I look like I am a yuppy John Denver wanna be lookalike.....................

..................feeling like a traitor to myself...................

I say- not a traitor,just a wise man who is taking to the field of battle donned in the same armor as his opponent. Sad that those who commit bad acts always attempt to paint their victims as being deserving of the harm that befell them.

Erik, I think you look very nice in the picture. Did you sell out by cutting your hair and shaving your beard? I don't think so. The real issue is obtaining justice for Teri, isn't it?

The change in your appearance can't hurt and is reversible. Hopefully, it will help your case. A sellout for the love of money? Hardly, my friend.

You look great Erik, and don't feel that it is for the love of money but it's to vindicate your Terri and I know you realized that what you had to do for her is worthwhile-- no matter if your values were infringed for the moment. We have to keep fighting for what we believe, you know that and Righteousness will be on your side. I know you will succeed. God take care of you.

....................the first time I wore something else besides black, since my Teri was killed. She had always loved me in blue denim and leather vest and my old Frye square toe boots, but she would have probably cried at seeing my hair short and face shaved. She loved her long-haired outlaw...........
