Hello from Savannah!

I found Eons earlier this year, and just foun 60plus singles only. I "qualified" to jion this group in September of this year, so ... here I am! Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing what I have to look forward to as I enter this "new" territory in my journey through life!

I've been widowed for 10 years, "single" (as in not dating anyone) for two years - since shortly before I moved to Savannah, as a matter of fact! I work full time in downtown Savannah, which I love, and I live out in the Islands with my chow chow, which I love as well! No kids, so no grandkids, lots of girlfriends, but pretty much spread from Florida to Oregon!

Welcome to 60's plus. I'm way past the 60's but the Lord must have more for me to do &, believe me, I try to keep busy & moving to accomplish whatever HE has in store for me. Am sure you will like this group, although the participation is lean.

I've been a widow 11 years & I don't date because I don't like the breed that is out there. If it is to happen I'll be shocked, but, hey, doesn't matter. I have so many things to do....I've just have other priorities. May you make wonderful friends & God bless you. Lotuslouse.

Thank you for the warm welcome! The 50's plus singles group is very active, and I was excited to see a 60's plus singles group but I guess we have more to do than stay online all the time so it's not as active, lol!

I think the reason there are fewer people age 60 and over not on the internet is because they don't own a computer or know how to use one. Also the age 50 to 55 are from the baby boom era and so there are many more people that age then over 60.
