Yes....and it's worth it...

How much do you spend monthly on food?

A LOT....I'm a gastric bypass patient..so I have to eat high protein. I also have colitis and celiac disease so I have to eat gluten free. EVERYTHING from the health food store..GRRRR, where a loaf of gluten free bread or 4 English muffins is at least $5.00.

We spend a lot too because we eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruit along with good quality meat from the butcher . We spend at least $ 1200 per month , but that includes the cleaning products that we buy at the grocery .

Family of four: $700-900 per month on food alone. We eat inexpensive brands and inexpensive foods even though they are not as healthy because we just can't afford to spend more.

Just for me...about $160/month including non-food items like cleaning supplies, cat litter and cat food. I mostly cook from scratch since I have the time, so that keeps costs down.

Too much for my husband cannot pass up a coupon, whether we need it or not.
