This carton is a testament to the adage that history will repeat itself. Scary how much the statements in the carton fit the issues of today.
Not sure how accurate I am on this but from the time before this carton was drawn until the mid 1940's, the US economy languished. The thing that ended the economic stalemate was WWII.

Isn;t the spend message with the tax givebacks and the clunker program that spending drives the consumer economy the nation develped?
