Not sure if it should be "congrats or condolences"??! Anyway, enjoy the time off....we've had very little issue with the flu - swine or regualar - with just a few out each week....I have noticed that when they are "out" it lasts for 4 or more days....we had our regular flu shot, but no word on the H1N1....TC

Gosh ya'll I guess it's worse than I thought...carpooled to a Saturday inservice with another art teacher, and just found out he was sick with H1N1 and at home all last week. He turned 60 this Aug. so he thought he was 'safe'.....'is it safe?'
Had my regular shot, I am sure there will be enough h1n1 to go around soon......
Hope you get some home stuff done.

We aren't allowed to take days off. We had a whole day professional development and the public transport system went on strike. As for the flu, most of our students were already vaccinated. I do know that there seem to be a lot of students absent.
We can't even get the regular flu vaccine here! Just got another email today that they still don't know when we will be able to get the regular one. I don't expect to ever see either vaccinations make it to Michigan!
We only closed for the past two days. We have to go back tomorrow. I don't expect to see many more students there and now I'm feeling like crap.
Honey, that's awful that you can't get a regular flu shot!
" it's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine...."
I hope you feel better.
