I'm sorry, but that post isn't available at the moment
How did the Republicans Conservatives allow this to happen? I thought they could filibuster outrageous legislation they have fought against for decades?
Nah, must have been a Scooby-Snack in there somewhere for them too.
Besides, who wants to vote against the victims of hate crimes?

How ever it came about, an important piece of legislation that will protect some of our friends here in this particular group was long in coming. It's not always about the money.
I agree Charles, but I wish they would get out of the habit of tying these unrelated pieces of legislation together to get a bad piece passed.
Do we really need more laws, or just more consistent enforcement?
Personally I think all bills should stand on their own (one bill - one subject). These riders are the way congressionals manage to waste millions of dollars on pork every year or disguise personal agendas under a blanket of necessity.

It's not so bad; they got rid of the Republican favorite waste of taxpayer dollars, the F-22. They just found out it can't fly when it rains; talk about a waste of taxpayer dollars, it needs 30 hours downtime for maintenance for every 1.5 hours flying (when it isn't raining).
more treasonous crap..we NEED the f-22. the duchy of grand Fenwick is testing its ultimate variable thrust x wing fighter and we will be absolutely helpless to stop it. how will you feel when the grand Ole flag is hauled down and replaced with the two headed bird?
