We Survive

Good morning to all my fellow group members....just a thought for today from my heart to yours.
If we have ever wondered about the limits of our strength and our ability to endure, our experience of loss will tell us much. Our life is shaken to the foundation. But we survive. And out of this terrible, rarefied self-knowledge comes, if we are fortunate, a kind of empathy with all of creation...a sense of the wonder at the suffering and the beauty, of the world. We know ourselves to be in this world, to be part of it and also that it is out of our hands. We cannot manage any of it, but we are in the hands of One who can.
In this purifying and terrible wisdom, may I feel the regenerating presence of God, for consolation, and for hope....my wish for you as well.

Hugs of friendship,
Jarcy

I know that it never gets any easier, that first knowledge of our loss is overwhelming. But it does get better, I know that from experience. BUT when it first happens, all we can do is rely on God, our family & friends to help us through that loss. First God, He is the One who heals our broken hearts, then our family & friends help keep us occupied and/or busy to help us through the worst of it. It's the times that we are alone with our thoughts, that it is the worst. Time to think, time to reflect, on the good times and on the bad times. All makes me cry right now! Uncontrollably at times, but this too shall end. The crying gets further between times, the heart begins to heal, you remember the good times more than the bad times. Time does heal and I know that you (and I) will too. God bless all you hurting hearts out there. Hugs, Joanne/mawma7

Jarcy,
I was wondering if something was wrong because you had not posted in a few days. Thank you for the words of wisdom as Rocksadie stated and I agree you always know how to say what we are thinking.
Hugs,
Kathy
