I've launched a new website dedicated to providing the world's first storybooks for early readers that include personalized illustrations. Users can customize the hero's ethnicity, gender, name, clothing, hairstyle and much more. Free eBooks can then be emailed to any child.

Perfect for grandparents, parents and teachers that want to send unique gifts, Oh My Stars books are currently completely free to customize and send.

I'm currently engaged in testing the site before adding more titles and a for-pay feature allowing users to purchase bound copies of their eBooks.

I'd love any comments, reports of bugs, or any other suggestions from eons community as I test the site.

This is a really cute idea. I was creating a picture, but it got hung up when I was creating the size, so I couldn't continue. You might consider approaching SendOutCards about this. It would probably be a big hit. I have several friends that use their service regularly that could point you in the right direction. If you're interested in going in that direction and don't know anyone that's affiliated with them, let me know. Much success!

Thanks, ct50. I'm pretty excited about it, and SendOutCards is a good idea. But what do you mean by "creating the size"? And what browser were you using? I'm really trying to get all the bugs out; any info helps! :)

Hi! For some reason I didn't get a notice of this message. I found it when I was scrolling through the site. Anyway, the site got hung up on the part where you select skinny, short, small, etc. I just went back through it, though, and it worked without a hitch. I'm going to share with my friends that have small children. ~ Candy
