Listen!...They're playing "our Song"....

What was your special song for you & that special someone? Do you have a recording, or tape of it? Did you have it played on your special day? Like your wedding.....

Our song for myself and my current (deceased) hubby was: "Ain't nothin like the real thing" by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell.

I don't have a tape or cd of it, but am looking into purchasing an albumn with the song on it.
I do so love the oldies music.
I was married in city Hall....so there was no music, but we used to play it, and dance whenever we went to house parties, thrown by us...or our friends.

Perhapds Imaginethat can post some of them.

Bruce decided before we were married that "Bridge Over Troubled Water" was our song--just because we heard it so much when we were dating, not because of any trouble. We have it on his old record, but we don't get the record out. We just stop and listen when we happen to hear it.

I cannot remember exactly what my friend played on the organ at our wedding, but we liked dancing to the theme song in Picnic, which right now I cannot recall the title of the song. I just love music! Donna
