No, I do not hug strangers!
I do not hug strangers and am not comfortable with strangers hugging me. What is the movie about? I've never seen it.
It's kind of a strange film about how demons enter the general population through touch. Parts of the movie are kind of hard to understand but it makes a good point - mainly that we need to be more careful about who we let touch us.
I'm not a germ-a-phob, but I am not partial to strangers putting their paws on me. Male or female. We used to have a waitress back in Illinois at the truck stop I worked at. I worked 3rd shift, she came in for 1st shift. The first thing she wanted to to do was give us all big "good morning" hugs. I was never comfortable with that. She was clean and well-groomed (a bit too heavy on the perfume), so that wasn't a problem; it was just that she was a mere coworker....not a friend or family member. I let it go on for a short time, and then started backing away when she grabbed for me. She got the message, and quit hugging me. I'm just picky about who touches me.
No--I do not let someone I do not know to hug me.
Stranger as in know but have not met (like EONS SKIT) yes of course, and not im not afraid of virus.... I dont have a problem with people touching etc, many cultures do this as a form of greeting... Usually you can judge when you first meet a person by their expressions if they are a feely type person. But I do confess I am a hugger... and I am a toucher when I talk...
I am a hugger, sorry. Sometimes a gentle touch is needed such as a hug, a pat on the back. I find that sometimes people need a hug, just by looking at them. Their face shows sadness, a lost and if you find the time to give that person a friendly hello or pat on the back, hug or just tell them that their clothes are beautiful or nice it surely brings a smile to their face. I don't go around hugging strangers, but once I get to know them and if they don't mind I hug. As far as germs, just wash your hands...as a baby boomer, I remember drinking out of the garden hose and I am still alive. Now a days it seems that everything makes you sick...I feel when the time comes my Father will take me home no matter what. I believe we are born with our destiny written out.
We hug and kiss a lot in Mexico. When being introduced, usually a kiss on the cheek while holding the person's hand. After you know them, a hug and cheek kiss hello and a hug and cheek kiss when you part. I love it. I do it when I go back to NJ to visit the family, and forget it is not the custom. Get a lot of funny looks. hahahaha. You know what I say? Suck up the love, babies, and spread it around.
Yes, it is what feels right to me.
