Love the way all the elements in this photo work together, from the ripples, to the reflections, to the gull, and the various shades of gray.

So many of my favorite elements at play here: reflections, contrasting textures, bird caught in active pose, black and white. I like your perspective. It is almost as if we were in the water swimming next to the gull. Say, you weren't by any chance in the water when you took this photograph....were you?
