I'm all for visible optimism and unbridled affections! It's a lovely Autumn day here in Central CT (Fall in New England ROCKS!). I just voted in our Mayoral elections (plus we voted for Board of Ed, Fire Commisioners, and Town Constable). Today, I'm outside russling more fallen leaves from the rosebeds and other garden spots. I hope yur day wherever you are goes well and that an unexpected happy surprise happens to you today!

Hi, Maryette! Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. Very much appreciated.

I have never seen New England in fall, sad to say. Once, in the early 1970's, I drove across Canada Highway 1 and then down the eastern seaboard. One of my favorite memories was lobster dinner at an old lighthouse out on a point -- best I've ever tasted. Plus blueberry cornbread...mmmmn.

We don't really have a fall here -- it basically goes from summer to winter, and I hear a cold front is headed our way. (80F yesterday, even at the beach.) Natives like me expect a lot of rain this year; don't know why, it just feels that way. We shall see.

The Autumn color and falling leaves are one thing we definitely miss from living in PA, many years.
It's just not the same here in Florida... but then the snows begin up North... and we are content, again!
