There's a team in Tulsa - a high school I think - that is called the Zebras...kind of odd!

All lot of people think the Sooners is a strange name for one of our state university teams here is Oklahoma. Esp. when they find out the original Sooners were people who cheated in the landrun and, therefore, lawbreakers!

At my high school it was the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds. Lotsa car stuff going on there. But that wasn't bad, just different.

How about a name that should have been? When the Cardinals moved to Arizona in the spring of 1988 and made Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe their home, they should have changed the name to the Tempe Tantrums... bah dum bum

These are some funny , and interesting stories....here in Ohio, many of us root for The Cleveland Browns....they are underdogs many times....most times....lol....but, we want them to win....just do sum'thin...lol .....my high school team was The Blue Devils.....hehehe
