When I saw my wife of 21 years. I just knew she was the one. I proposed within a few months.

I met my current husband at an AA meeting when we were early in recovery. Like the newbies we were in recovery, we weren't real bright. We got married within two weeks of our first date. I'm glad for it now, though, I love him to death!

I went to a Tupperware party....nope....he wasn't there. When my order came in....My girlfriend, got Rick to deliver my salt & pepper set that I had ordered.
That was how we met.
We dated for about 8 months and then he proposed. I was already married, but separated....so after another 5 months once my divorce was final...we married.

I met my late husband at a Parents Without Partners house party in July 1983 and we married in June 1986. Marriage was not on either of our minds for quite a long time--second marriages are risky business.

Met my S/O online! We dated once every 6 wks or so for a long time, over a yr..then more often. after about 2 yrs of dating, he asked me if I would like to find a house for "US", and I was not really interested for a while-a couple months, but eventually I said ok and we found a nice house! And three yrs later, we are still in the house and very happy.
I had doubts at first. He is the first guy I've ever known who doesn't cuss me out daily. I kept waiting for him to 'blow up' for a yr, then I realized he is not that type of fella. He treats me wonderfully. Life is good at long last!

Forty years ago my mom and Bruce's mom had been church friends for a few years, but I was engaged to someone else and didn't meet Bruce. Things weren't going well with my fiance (he wasn't on speaking terms with my dad) and I told my mom I'd like to meet Bruce. He came to church and met me and my dad by the sanctuary door, and called to ask me out that week. We started talking about marriage after 6 weeks or so, but waited 2 years to marry, and we're still in love.
