Old Vs New

I've watched GH since 1979 and cried when Jonathan Jackson left. Never liked his replacement, Jacob Young? and there even may have been someone else I've forgotten in the role, but did like Greg Vaughn. My problem was that the character grew weak. Lucky became a man without a backbone. Now he's honorable as hell but a Caspar Milktoast. The real question is though, is Jonathan Jackson worth throwing Greg Vaughn over for or will he make Lucky an even bigger yawn, a lost soul like they did to Natalia Livingston, bringing her back but who cares? Yes, just my opinion. I read somewhere someone said JJ looked too young for Lucky at his present age & I thought that didn't make sense until I saw him. It's really not hard to see him still sleeping on the floor of Elizabeth's bedroom lo those many years ago now. Yes, I know, just my opinion

No i agree with you. Although i did like Jacob Young as Lucky i have never liked Greg Vaughn i think he made lucky boring and weak and as you said no backbone...a prescription drug addict that blamed all his woes on everyone else...stood on his moral high horse and yet did the same things he accused others of doing.....Lucky had been boring and a great big YAWN for years....i dont know if Jonathan can bring back the Lucky we all once loved or if he is dead and gone forever....time will tell. He does look a bit young...but i think if he plays it right he may be able to pull it off.
