I watched Love Story a few months back -- I know the feeling!

I caught a movie late one night that I just cried all the way through but it was a good cry. It was P.S. I Love You with Gerard Butler and Hillary Swank about a man who was dying of cancer (go figure!) and left notes for his widow. I highly recommend it as long as you have a box of tissues handy. And snacks, lots of comforting snacks. Deb
I watched P.S. I Love You this weekend. I didn't think that I would like it but I did. I called my sister and asked where are my gifts and trip to Ireland? She didn't see the movie - Oh Well. Joyce

Yeah, I was thinking that a trip to Ireland might be quite nice. Ken had a travel agent he always worked with - should I check with her? Maybe she forgot to get the tickets to me. lol
I almost turned it off too but for some reason I just kept watching and I was glad that I did. Deb
I'm an addict to romantic movies - always believed in Love and always will. I tease my oldest daughter that her Knight will come on a white horse - and her line back to me is" mom keep dreaming" ! LOL
I tell her there is someone for everyone, and for goodness sakes she's only nearing 39 in Dec!
lani - you can dream of him and remember all the times you had together
Chris
Ps did you see Bridge of Madison County - that was a tearjerker.
Thanks for letting me know of Amelia !
We didn't have similar tastes in things but there were some movies that overlapped for us. I'm a history nut and he was an action/adventure guy.
This might sound silly but those movies that had both elements get to me.
So strange as it sounds, Gladiator brings out my Kleenex, or Braveheart, or The Patriot.
My Richard was my real life hero; always there to look after me.
Ann and I both loved comedies, but good comedies are hard to find.
