Computer Question

This is not a major problem with my computer, just annoying. I have Windows XP Pro (2002), and have multiple users set up (separate log ons etc), so the problem after my daughter logs on and then I log on all my "remember me" info is gone. I just re-type but it bothers me that I do not know why.... anyone have this or know what I am doing wrong?

Alot of my clients are trying to convince me to get a notebook. It's just not conducive for the work that I do. I always end up copying their work onto a flash drive then putting it on my laptop so I can sew/work on it with a bigger screen.

something else poet . . . how do you have the other log ins set up? Is your log in the only one with administrative rights. I think there's a way to set it up so that the administrator is the only one who can clear cookies but I may be wrong. If not, you might be able to set it up so that she can only clear her own cookies not everyone elses.

well I really appreciate everyone's help. I have done both..NOT cleared anything and then checked, and also cleaned her cookies etc. But I am going to try it again and make sure I do it properly. The computer is three way split, two of which has admin rights... but I'll have to poke around. I was thinking there was some preference somewhere that says never to remember, but so far I have not found it. and it also doesn't seem to happen every time.

But thanks again so much, y'all always come through.

Yup-our help is of no use to you but we always come through ;-)!

SAS the smaller screen takes some getting used to I agree. If you play around with the settings you can get everything on the screen at once...you just have to be able to read the tiny type. I adjust for the convenience of it.

JG I already wear glasses for reading so the small print drives me nuts. I've also learned never say never so who know, maybe one day I'll own a netbook.

Well they don't pay me to push them-honest! I just love miniature anything I guess. I'm not a "bigger is better" person...and I can't wait to see what CG will do with that one.

I am a firm believer that good things come in small packages. (Now really, none of them will be able to resist that will they?)
