Fall Foliage?

I traveled to Indiana yesterday to meet four of my girlfriends from school for lunch and our Christmas gift exchange. I was disappointed that the Fall foliage was about a week past prime so I didn't get any pictures of pretty colors in the trees. A lot of the leaves had already fallen. How are the colors in your areas?

Betty, we really didn't have much fall foliage in this area. The colors were bland and the leaves just seemed to fall off the trees all at once. I was told that if there is an early frost, the fall colors are more vibrant. It has been very warm and a little wet around here, no signs of frost as yet. I still have a few trees with leaves still on but I am sure in a couple of weeks, they will have come down. I love my trees but it's a big job cleaning up the fallen leaves.
