the republican health care plan

The republican plan called Patient’s Choice (mostly written by Paul Ryan, Sen. Wyoming?

1. eliminate the tax break that employers receive for providing health-insurance benefits to their workers. Instead, it would give an annual tax credit of $2,300 to each individual and $5,700 to each family that they could use to offset the cost of their health insurance. Low-income families would get extra money to buy into private insurance plans.
2. 2. To create insurance exchanges that make it easier to comparison-shop for health-care plans. Same as the Democratic plan as well as mine
3. Shift health-care dollars toward preventing chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes, not just because it will make Americans healthier, but because prevention is cheaper than treating people once they get really sick.
4. There is also a Senior citizen Bill of Rights that will be coming soon.
5. health care plan is portable (similar to democratic plan)
6. Then the plan focuses on veterans & Native Americans giving both the coverage of Medicare.

They don't want to agree they want to rule. They want to make the decisions that we the people are not able to make or so they keep saying. They want their way and only their way and that is government run health care.

when either party has a majority the block the other I believe that is how the game is played. I am thinking about Tip O'niell or the Newt Gingrich congress.

The Republicans weren't shut out of the meeting govwatcher.
They boycotted it.

On another note ...it's nice that white Americans finally have a reason to "march on Washington."
The tea parties are even now converged on D.C. with signs and slogans, "Kill the Bill."
Sadly, much of the protest (transportation, paperwork, refreshments, etc. etc.) is being paid for by health insurance companies and other interested parties. Most of the poor slobs (these are the jobless ones) jumping up and down, shouting and waving placards, don't know this.

What's even more revealing is that 99 44/100% of the crowd is white!
Vanilla-mayonnaise-white bread-white anglo saxon protestant.

No salsa.
No soy sauce.
No hot sauce.
No BBQ sauce.

Just plain ol' vanilla-mayonnaise-white bread- white anglo saxon protestant!

So much for a so-called "American peoples" protest.
America has never been as white as this protest is. LOL
Hyper-hypocritical.

What's even more hypocritical: as soon as the (D) health insurance bill becomes law, all those protesters will be lined up to sign up for their "guvmint" health insurance.

Such huge-hyper-hypocrits.

So maybe white can think for themselves and just maybe that working people realize what this is going to cost our grandkids to take care of folks like you. Probably we will Have to sign up for the government insurance because they will run the rest out of business by bargaining and getting a cheaper price because they will give theirs all the subsidies. I think that they were shut out of the meeting and since when do our lawmakers have to sneak out back doors. Half the lawmakers up there are either so busy arrogant tax cheats or so busy trying to make another buck for themselves they have forgotten what working for a living is ll about. Where was all the rest of the sandwich in the other elections on Tuesday when they elected the Republicans? Yes even they quit believing in this self indulging government they are not stupid and acorn wasn't helping and are smart enough to realize hey they gonna fine me or make me pay for my health care. Race quipen of course the easiest to blame it on but is not the answer here. Yich I know how government is run and I am a independent and that is why I vote for the man and his actions. Sadly its sounds like you are jealous because where was the other side to say yeah pass the bill with Acorn and SEIU out of business..

look at the plab that was ewleased with a littlw more detail two days ago As far as I can see it lowers cost by lowering benefits.there is no criteria foe what is he minimum coverage. It allow again the insurance exchage buywih no standard or criteria companies wil charge es because the will cover less. It will not cover the 40 million uninsured nor wil it do much for the under insured. basically do not need your kidneys cleaned.(forgot what that is called), I also did not see a pharmacy plan.I know i am selfish but that is important to me and probably a good number of people. I will be taking a closer lookk over the weekend. It is a lot easier to read then the democratic plan.

Is all of this so important to you that your grandchildren will have to pay for it just so you can have it? That is the biggest thing wrong with the Dem's. If you have not been able to take the graft and corruption out of a little plan like Medicare how in Gods name can you take it out of 2000 pages of rules and regulations. The thinkers at the top of their plan don't have to worry they will decide what life giving medicine and cover their own backs.
