How close is the nearest fire hydrant?

Across the street and 'down' about 2 houses! Nice and close.

Over in the housing development to the north of me, but....that's annexed to the city and I'm in the county, so it might as well be 5 miles away.

Diagonally across the corner from my house. I learned when I lived out in the country that your home owners insurance rates are linked to how close or far you are from a hydrant. I bought this house nice and close.

There is a fire hydrant directly across the street from me , no more than 25 feet from my property line .

I don't know. I just moved in this weekend and probably should find that out! I would assume the fire dept. knows though!

I'm on a dirt road back in the country...prob . about 1 mile from the highway. The nearest hydrant is about 4-5 miles down that road.

Out in my driveway there's an outlet, and the well is on an easement in our wooded lot next to our house. The fire station is just a mile away, so our insurance is pretty low, in spite of living at the edge of town.
