# 4 for my birth year. But I sort of knew that when 5 of us living ion the same floor of a small dorm all had the name Patricia.
My gosh - my name and my kids names never made the top 20 for the years we were born...! All the girls I knew in school were in the top 20 for our year of birth though. A fun thing to look up!

#25 for the year I was born
The names sure are differnt now. Looking at the 2008 list for woman, Chloe, Olivia, Madison.....I had no friends with those names, but Linda Mary and Susan which were popular when I was born were friends of mine. In fact, there were no girls names that were popular in 1952 that are on the top 20 list now. Some of the boys name are still the same. Michael and William made both lists.
How interesting! "Frank" wasn't on the top 20 list for 1947, but it was #12 in 1927 ! My name was old fashioned by the time I got it. Of course my Dad and Grandfather we happy with it (both Franks).
I don't believe this: !
# 1 female name in 2008 is Emma? no way!
Don't get a big head Mike but Michael was #1 for MANY years...
My sister and I have names that were popular in the early 1900's - UGH! and not even #1..ever....Oh well. I wonder if they have a website with popular NICKnames? lol
