Michael Connelly

Going to try "Angels Flight" by Michael Connnelly.

At the foot of Angels Flight, an inclined railway in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, a lawyer is found murdered on the eve of a landmark trial. Howard Elias's lawsuits against the LAPD for racism and brutality made him a celebrity and earned him the hatred of every cop in the city. When Harry Bosch is put in charge of the investigating team, he knows that his colleagues are likely to be his chief suspects. he also knows that smoldering racial tensions could ignite if he missteps. Working in the glare of a major media event, Bosch also struggles with a personal mystery: his wife's disappearance. Then the investigation is stymied by internal sabotage. As the city nears the point of explosion, Bosch must find the one answer that connects all the pieces to save his job, his marriage, and his city.

I haven't read this one yet but I have really enjoyed several other Michael Connelly books. I'll have to get this one - it sounds good.

Finished the book and enjoyed reading it. Easy to follow along. Had me guessing who the murderer was. Wow, corruption within the police department and coverups. Fiction

I made a very poor joke. My intention was to point out that corruption within the police department and coverups are not fiction. My bad.
