I missed having his tribute here so Suecitysue is going to put it in a sticky message to remain indefinitely. I asked her permission to do this and she was in agreement. Bill literally saved my life! Yes, may he Rest in Peace!

Thank you spirit for this web site, do day they had a memorial for my husband t the VA in Long Beach,

I will always remember and be thankful that he started this group - he and his wife were so young and passed so close together.

Mine too Chris. I just went back and checked and the first post I found by Bill was in January,'07 but he speaks of having posted before that. My firsts posts are no longer there either for some reason. He and I discussed this. Anyhow, my husband died in March, 2005 and I was in a terrible mental state. I just didn't think I could go on. I was in the doctor's office and picked up an AARP magazine to read, and saw an ad for Eons and this group in particular. I joined Eons and this group and it saved my life. I will be eternally grateful to Bill.

This is a nice thread/memorial for him as the other posts for him - he was way too young - but you could read of his being heartbroken after his wife's passing.
Nan, I found Eons by going online to find a support group in RI - and when googling - eons and this group popped up.
At first I was leary as I never joined a group online - but it blossomed for me with so many good folks to communicate with.
I am sure Bill would be smiling to know how he helped so many.
