True Jamie Mac took the flags--but there wasn't much racin' in those last few laps.....this is disappointing after waitin' all season for the fall 'Dega race---NASCAR needs to stick their restrictor plates and let these guys race!
Not from what I saw Mass. Close inspection showed Vickers got into the back of Keslowski who then got into the back of others. Keslowski is a menace, but this was Vickers Talladega Trick like the year he won his first race by wrecking Johnson and Jr.
This was the most boring Dega race I've ever watched. Everybody play follow the leader and leave a space between them going into the turns. Why doesn't NASCAR just let the drivers sit on the sideline and run their cars by remote control. It would be more exciting.
The only good thing about this entire race was that Ryan Newman is okay--this was the worst race of the season..and everybody waits for the Dega race--geez-just let them race....at this rate Nascar will kill racing
No sale again E. It was keslowski's car that nailed Martin, plain and simple. If you are going to try and drag Vickers into it you might as well blame the rest of the field as well. Who was behind Vickers? Who was behind the next guy and so on.................................
My 2cents worth. Every year every1 looks forward to the Dega races./ Boy did Nascar screw that up. It was terrible. LET UM RACE !!! Did the change of the restrictor plate cause ( less wrecks)??
Newman said it perfectly. No1 is gonna watch this crap. !!!!! Nascar had better change that back cuz they will loose more fans. I am also glad that Newman was ok . The only thing Nascar has done right in a while is make the cars safer !!!
NASCAR may as well shorten the race to 30 laps with no restrictor plates. They could run the trucks, Nationwide and Cup races in one day. Would still not be very fun for the fans at the track.
As far as safer, Newman was still critical of the roll cage coming down on his helmet.
Congrats to Jamie - I hope this helps him find a ride for next year. As for the race - BORING!
NASCAR might as well finish sucking the life out of what little racing we have left.
I loved Jr. comment just before the green flag - it's like turning the NFL into two-handed touch.
Glad everyone involved in the crashes came out OK>
not sure if the roll cage came down on his helmet or his helmet was puished against while he hung upside down in the belts in the car.
