If the draw is anything like the last time they played, they'll break another record -- when they played in Minneapolis, more people watched that program than any other program in cable TV history!

I'll be watching -- I'm getting settled in right now. I'll be grilling some sirloin burgers later. Wish I had some of Cos' waffle fries!

Yup, its Fraveapolooza, The Journey Home...Part II.

The chill of a late Fall afternoon will soon be settling on the myriads watching; millions on TV and tens of thousands or as in the Ice Bowl of so many years ago, hundreds of thousands wait for the moment. The moment that reverses what was started almost twenty years ago...more or less..when giants strode the gridiron or was that forty years ago and change.

Anyway, the nation has already made sacrifices to have this game, THE GAME, to be available across the nation to viewers, both the fans and the curious, as to what will small town America do to its one time hero, the name on steakhouse and a street sign. Welcomed or reviled, and what does either mean in the greater context of the 21st century, the early part.

Already some people are upset, Jets and Giants fans for one. The NFL and its media partner Fox have been exposed as willing to trash the Temple and show a Jets and a Giants game at the same time to the jaded, quiche loveing and white wine drinking crowd in the City that never sleeps to show some doings of the beer and brat crowd. Truly the country needs more hope and change, if not stimulus and reformed health care to overcome the obese, curd eating, heavy clothed, west of the Hudson, tiny town team hysterics of a whether a slow, not easily retired Southerner should come or go.

And we will soon find out.

Oh and Brett, Ted is sending a return prepaid Fedex box for the watch, and there is a bill for some letters and numbers that Ted thought you might be able to use, he isn't, and he'd like you to remit and steakhouse coupons wouldn't do.
