Barack Obama is part of the corruption in his own party , why would he stand up against it ? Both parties are almost totally corrupt because our corrupt political system , where all candidates must be bought by special interests before they can even get a nomination , automatically weeds out almost all who are not corrupt .

First, its he's doing too much, too fast. Obama needs to focus. Now its not happening soon enough. Sorry government doesn't move quickly. More like slower than molasses on a cold Minnesota morning.
He cannot sign a bill that isn't in front of him. HCR won't go for a final vote until December - at the earliest.

I wish I had answers that could answer these questions, or ease your mind. I can only say that it's been 10 months. Is Barack OBama tough enough to stand against the corruption of his own party? I can only answer this question with another question. Would John McCain, or Hillary Clinton, or any of the other primary hopefuls have been strong enough to stop the corruption in Government? I voted for change with the understanding that change takes time. And as it appears that not all Democrats are actually Democrats, it seems to me that change will take longer. I don't think I have to remind you what this President inherited. That if he could have solved all these problems in 10 months, some would suggest that maybe these problems were not as bad as was stated during the campaign.
Do you know why we haven't closed all the bases in other countries? Have you really researched this issue in order to get a better understanding why we are there in the first place?

I feel a bit disappointed, and somewhat flustered by the Conservative Dem's, and how the Democratic Senate allows Joe Liebermann to con them the way he is doing. America gave George W Bush eight years, and the Republican Party 12 years to dig this hole. I think I can give this ruling class 4 years before panic mode sets in.
I'm still on the kool aide. Perhaps that makes me stupid, blind, an OBama-ite, whatever some want to call it. But I think getting involved and staying on top makes a difference.
In August the public option was all but dead. Now it has found itself in both houses of Congress because people decided to complain to the source, and not just to each other.

I will feel fucked when more Americans who voted for change lose heart, and give in to the those who want us to give in.
Why did you vote? I don't know. Only you can answer that question.

I voted for change. I see a bit of it, not as much as I would like, but definitely more than I saw in the past administration.

We expected change from BOTH parties. We have blamed Bush and the republicans for everything. We should not have gotten into the war, but they hit us first on 9-11. Clinton could have had Binladin TWICE but the Democratic President Fucked up.

We are still paying for that mistake. We should not have gotten involved in the war but the Republican President Fucked up! We should not pay for the involvement with the UN either. The UN is corrupt and they are working against us, the USA. We funded the meeting in New York that cost us millions of dollars and the fucking President is flying to New York to take his wife on a "date, again off to get the Olympics for Chicago and that in addition to the war has put us in China's pocket!

Obama is NOT or ever has been qualified to be the President the USA. Before the Presidential election he had only FOUR years of federal government experience, and THAT was in Chicago!

Obama has put us in the hole borrowing TRILLIONS of dollars from China, and he continues to put us in debt even more so he can buy services from his rich buddies. WE are the ones who made those fuckers rich in the first place AND Obama continues putting OUR money in THEIR pockets.

Obama and our current administration have already put the next two generations so deep in debt and they continue to spend OUR money by spending the trillions - they expect to put this health care through too - wake up people!!!

My opinion is that Wal-Mart shoppers are the ones that put us trillions of dollars in debt to China, for a bunch of cheap trash that falls apart much too soon. The cheap price guarantee was instrumental in the loss of much manufacturing in this nation over the past 30 years.

oh heck.please don't..I also don't think Obama is a good choice. and they haven't booted me out yet.. not a thing wrong with passion and has others have said you didn't get into the name calling we sometimes see. I would very much like to see a change in both parties and some serious debate about what issues are best handeled by government and which need to be left alone.
