What the PEOPLE WANT

Health Care Reform could be VERY simple if someone was listening to WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT!
1. Single Payer/Public Option
2. NO FINES!!!!
3. HEALTH CARE FOR ALL!!!
4. Stop pissing away funds on WAR and the HEALTH CARE REFORM act will be financed @ $150,000,000 per day!

TOO SIMPLE FOR YOU?

I'm somewhat sceptical about a single payer system but I think a public option would benefit many, many, many.

I think we deserve Universal Healthcare like the rest of the civilized world has. They have better outcomes too. I'd much rather have people I voted for calling the shots on my healthcare than some guy in an insurance company.

Why don't the American people vote as a question ballot?

Dennyz28...I agree. My health insurance was once cancelled by some guy at a desk that had NEVER SEEN me or even talked to me! And that is why I hate SNOOPY!!

We may think we have the best health care of the free world, but we are only kidding ourselves! Universal seems to work VERY WELL in England, Canada and France. WE ARE WAY BEHIND and need to change.

And, I'm not interested in reforms that will take place years from now. I understand the healthcare in Heaven is excellent! We need the reforms to take place while we're still here!

I agree that we should at least try Universal Health Care like other industrialized countries have. We are not even number one anymore for best country to live in. I believe we are now number 13. I don't understand why so many people are afraid to try something new. Sometimes I think about living in Europe where they have Universal Health Care. Now that my husband retired from the government, he has to pay double in insurance premiums. I hope we can make it here.

macscout, Please go to www. healthcare-now.org to learn about single payer. It is the most economically efficient solution but our leaders do not want to put the health insurance industry out of business. I understand that it would be very disruptive to our economy but we are already in an economic mess.

I just saw a fascinating program tonite on PBS Frontline, called Sick Around the World. I strongly recommend that anyone interested in the health care issue watch it. www.pbs.org
