There's plenty of us on Eons in your age group. I think it's wonderful having the support I've found on Eons. I'm bound and determined to quit smoking and not gain weight at the same time. I need to find some form of exercise I can work into my schedule.
Perhaps we can be moral support for each other.
Hi and thanks for the message. I'm bound and determined to lose weight and I actually thought about starting smoking again. lol But my husband has emphysema so that's out of the question. Anyway, let's keep in touch. I'll write more later.
Oh my goodness, this eons thing is overwhelming!!! I'm trying to find my way around but I'm not sure where to start.
My diet that I started Sunday (my birhtday) is still going OK. It really isn't a diet as much as trying to be aware of what I eat. I'm doing a walking workout as well but the time change has me out of kilter so I'm trying to work into it gradually. I also pulled a muscle in my back working on my plants this weekend. I am determined though. If I'm going to be an old woman I want to be a healthy one.
Best regards.
Hi,
Congratulations on turning a new leaf! That is great. I do understand having lost a large amoung of weight and I wrote a book about the journey. You might want to check it out: www.peacefulplacepublications.com The main thing is to keep going forward and don't look back at how you used to do things. I'm 65 and I find it is so important to stay in the "now" - stay in the moment and be grateful for every right thing I do.
I wish you the very best. Ruthy (connie)
