Halloween

Well last night once again no tricker treaters 24 years in a row. the first year I lived here I had one kid come to the door. Some of the my friends on face book spends $50 to $70 in candy and had to run out to buy more. I think I saved money without even knowning it for 24 years. Ya went you live out in the sticks it's worth it some times. Don't forget to set your clocks back. Redskin

Thank-you for your halloween story, as I have the same situation, but for the first few years, I got the candy and all the makings for the lawn, you know I went all out, then I tried every year after that and finally gave up. Thanks again, and remember all the clocks went back an hour, but I'm sure when you arrived at church an hour early, you realized it. lol Mulineum1

I purchased very few bags of candies since my children grew up and out. However, I'll started to decorate my house and windows near the end of Sept. The window with fall leaves, some fake and pressed leaves that preserved for years. Several ears of Indian corn on my doors, fall wreaths.

Later out comes Mr. Jack-o-Lanter, the humped back black cat, and a decorated skull wreath all of which is lit up. It is fun to me.

My grands and their friends will come by. I will take their pictures and the great grands. Some of their friends will come by and children I've taught w/ their children. There aren't that many but it's still fun and worth the effort.

Once Halloween has past, I will dismantled the Halloween images and contined the Autumn thme until it's Christmas decoration images to go up.

No children lives here except me. smile
