For me, no trick or treaters. Was tricked some during the day...lol
Morning All, We live in the country so sadly, no trick or treaters. For those that gave out treats, what type of costumes did you see?

We got rid of 11 bags of halloween candy last night- had a ton of kids - maybe 90-100! All so cute! I love it.

Our daughter in Ireland said her two girls brought home huge bags of goodies, including 10 packets of crisps each! I'd say there were some sick tummies in the night! No trick or treaters here in Turkey - don't think they've ever heard of 'Halloween' lol !!
@: djmhart..Wow that's a lot of kids and candy. As per m911y's question, what are some of the types of costumes you saw?
@: Gill...That's good your grand kids made out...that's interesting that Turkey doesn't know about Halloween. Do they have a holiday similar to it?
Went with my daugthter & granddaughter to a Trunk or treat at their church. That was plenty of stuff.l They stopped at a couple of friends houses. I live on a gravel road just off of a main road and no one comes by here.
Many of the little girls were variations on the princess theme. We saw 2 tigers, several bees and lady bugs, lots of boys with capes, swords and shields. Also saw a bank robber, a flying monkey, Luke Skywalker, hockey players, soccer players, several witches, and a partridge in a pear tree- no , just kidding.

lol..thanks djmhart..love your ending to your list. It seems costumes don't change much year to year.
One time years ago I had a mother holding a small girl child, dressed as an angle. Wings, halo and everything. It was one of the cutest things I have seem in a costume.
Hi there
Gill, why not start the Halloween thing yourself? Start a trend ! Get dressed up, knock on your neighbors doors and ask for candy ! It might catch on !
One of the women in the office who has little children brought in a big bag of candy and my hand is in that bag all day. Glad it is almost empty and only very sweet little pieces are left.
Now on to Turkey Day... Gee Gill Thanksgiving must be big in Turkey LOL
