I'm busy - running folks to the doctors' appointments. Seems I'm the appointed driver. The hubby hates to drive; the son doesn't drive at all. My sister needs someone to go with her because she never understands what the doctors tell her, her husband works out of town all week. I'm also in Physical Therapy twice a week for my shoulder, elbow and wrist again. I'm crocheting some projects that I have to finish in the next couple of weeks, then I will be able to slow down on that for a while. Trying to clean out the house and the garage so I can get it cleaned and pressure washed before our family get together the weekend before Thanksgiving. Going to Athens, GA, for a granddaughter's birthday this weekend. And the only thing I feel like doing is crawling into bed and staying there til everything is over.

My daughter got married on Halloween and right after the cermony had to go to the er with a misscarriage, she lost alot of blood but didnt have to have surgery. We knew it was coming so at least it wasnt a shock but still difficult to have on your wedding day! Losing a baby is never easy.

SCLaura, I am sorry that your daughter lost her baby. That is so sad.
I have been doing a lot of reading: Oprah's Book Club Choice, and Sylvia Browne's new books. I put them on hold at the library, thinking they will trickle in; NOT. They all come at once.
Also rooting for the Phillies in the World Series.
Just made appointment for H1N1 Flu shot for Thursday. Finally they make appointments instead of first come first served. People were camping out the night before or standing in line at 3, 4, 5 in the morning to get in at 9a.m. I hope this works.
Took out the last of my brussel sprouts, cabbage, and tomatoes out of my garden. Now I am weeding it, in hopes of less work in the spring. Just like cleaning house, it never ends!
Continuing my goals of walking 30 min. on the treadmill and floor excersizes for core strength and flexibility. I am not perfect, I skip a day or two, sometimes 3; then I am back at it.
I think my Neti Pot helps keep viruses away; haven't been sick. Hope those that are; for a speedy recovery.

Things are calm for me. Just waiting for the snow to start flying and then becoming more housebound than usual. It feels so good to get out in the spring!
I went with my daughter and her 3 year old son to an afternoon of doctor appointments Tuesday. Michael has Spina Bifida and has many bodily function issues and can't walk without a walker. BUT he is a great kid with a great personality and disposition. Thank God. His parents are real troopers in Michael's life.
My Mother is waiting for her brother to pass away. My sister is waiting for her daughter's 59 year old father-in-law to pass away from brain cancer. My father-in-law's 91 year old sister has two blood clots. It seems we have death around us right now. I've always heard it comes in three's.
I'm trying to commit to my treadmill too and to stick to my once a week gentle Yoga class. After class today I'm going to a small town nearby for once a month occassional sales. It's fun just to go to these shops and look. Today our weather is good. Sun and 50.
SCLaura I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to your daughter and her family. It's so difficult to lose a baby. So difficult to lose a grandchild. These first few days are really tough to get through. I'm sending prayers your way. God bless.
How are you doing REALLY?
When I read that it hit me we Never really say how we are feeling . I always say good thanks and under my breath I say if you only knew. I am so tired of hurting that after 20 odd years just getting up is becoming a chore. I've lost interest in so many things that I used to love just because it hurts to do them.
Then I say it could be worse and push it to the back of my mind and get moving. God Bless you all. Maybe some day we will all feel better
Today has been a very low energy and high pain day. I had to go to my primary care dr. or I would have stayed all day in my flannel nightie with my flannel sheets and electric blanket.
