Satisfied with the program but I didn't transfer my favorites when asked on download. Is there a way to get my favorites now?

@Albin Have you downloaded the German version of Firefox? When you use Google search have you set your preferences for German?

I have just found the message where firefox was, message 11, firefox 3.6 Beta 1.is the name of the program. The author of the post is listed as Adam Pash,with an email address.

Anything that is beta can cause problems Albin and that's a risk that people accept when they are beta testers. I hope it won't put you off using Firefox - for the most part it is a good browser.

MrT, I have disabled firefox but not erased. I can always re-able it. But now my system is running normal again, but only because I disabled firefox. Is there a firefox program that is not beta?

to install favorites manually....

you have to create the folder... you can do that with 'favorites' by copying and pasting the favorites folder in to your user name...(my computer/ local disc(usually c drive)./ documents and settings/ the user name you want the favorites under...voila you have favorites in the new pc the same as the old one
