Thanks for the update. I have been doing this since the last time you posted this and today I was just wondering if chocolate would make it. By the way, has your niece mentioned anything else besides candy, gum and paperbacks that they would like sent. I'm getting another box ready now and was just wondering.

There is a need for clothing items for the patients, PJ's, underwear, Flip Flops.....often when they come in wounded their clothing is cut off or discarded, and they are in a hospital gown type thing until they are flown out to Germany or the States where they qualify for a uniform issue.
A group is shipping pillows to the hospital units, (see TheCometdog dot com) as they are in such short supply

As our troops are carried in the see Our Flag so they know they are safe
