The Tall Wall

There it stands in the open space
Blocking my path to every fruitful crop
It appears to be built on solid ground
Harboring layers of crust and muck
Polluting the atmosphere with rebellion
Deep within is anger concealed
Growing moss of doubt fear and humiliation

There is poise in its stature
That speaks of my inabilities
It thrives on my insecurity
As I stand beneath it to survive
Oh wall of deception
You are not for protection

There is no getting around
It must be crumbled to the ground
These are the hands
That built you up
These are the hands
That tear you down

I wonder why this poetry gave me an eerie feeling--to the author, is this about emotional and or physical abuse? Seriously, I want to know.

yes I wrote it Lanielove. Thank you for the credit .
To Genuinely; I like the reader to put his/her spin on the writing but this poem can relate to any situation that stifles growth in a human being.
