Halloween Special: Disney's Scariest Cartoon









In "The Mad Doctor" (1933), Mickey Mouse braves a haunted castle to save Goofy from being tortured (no kidding!) by a crazy scientist. For some reason, seeing the Doc cut Goofy's shadow with scissors manages to be totally unnerving. It still gives me the shivers! Seven minutes of laughs and scares.

Definitely a classic. Oh yeah, the victim was Pluto, not Goofy. :-)

The doghouse says Pluto, but it sure sounds like Mickey is saying "Goofy.".....

That is why I thought it was him. Either way, it's a creepy cartoon! :-) I love the skeleton spider too!
