CANCER SUCKS!!!!
As most of you know, I was diagnosed with liposarcoma 18 months ago. It started as a tumor in my thigh! I went through 25 straight days of radiation treatment where the skin on my leg was fried off just leaving bare meat! They gave me a month to recover from that, then they surgically removed the tumor. 6 weeks later I had a massive infection at the incision! 10 more days in the hospital with 4 more surgeries! I had to wear a wound vac for 3 months to keep the open wound from getting infected again (see profile) The pain was excruciating! I was taking 40 to 80 mg of Oxycontin a day! They decided that I needed hyperbaric treatment to get my leg to heal quicker. That was 60 days of lying in a glass tube for 2 hours a day in pure oxygen at 3 atmospheres! The pressure hosed my eyesight up bad! After 60 treatments, the insurance wouldn't pay for anymore. The wound on my leg was only half healed. During this time they found that the cancer had spread to my lungs! I decided to dump the shoemakers, and go to a cancer center! They started me on chemo therapy that lasted for 5 months. I had all the side effects, fatigue, nausea, hair loss. no taste, loss of appetite, etc. After the chemo, there was no cancer left in my lungs. They decided that I would go into monitoring mode, where they checked me once every 4 months, Well, the first check, and the friggen cancer is back! I start my next round of chemo next week! The wound on my leg still isn't healed yet! What the hell do I have to do to get rid of this shit??????????????
