Hi rh296, would you elaborate on the Cowboy Poets? Is this a new group or established group? Any relation to the Cowboy Poetry Website?

That's not all that happens at these Gatherings. There usually is different kinds of foods, things for the kids to do and hand made crafts. At least the ones I've been to. Even my hubby wold get together with a few friends and play their banjo, mandolin, and fiddle.

Will have BBQ dinner, show and dancing. I picked this up from poster in Brenham. I believe www.blisswood.net should have info.

Cade Schalla – Local cowboy poet, columnist and former PRCA bull rider

Linda Kirkpatrick – Texas cowboy poet, writer and Texas historian

Joe Wells – Working cowboy and reciter and performer of classic cowboy poetry

Frank Roberts – Cowboy singer and songwriter

Prairie Moon Band – Cowboy band featuring cowboy music and western swing

Hi there, just got back from a long three days in the Texas Hills on the Blanco River -- what a wonderful weekend, but exhausted and need to work on our schedule regarding this event. I'm pretty sure we're going and I'll confirm in a day or two, but BG if we go why don't you ride with us! Anyone else game for meeting us in Cat Spring on the 14th?? -- sounds like a lot of fun!

Can't make it....I cannot believe but I have three events this night...good grief. Not that I am complaining. I am going to numero uno one....a ranch party for staff.
