christmas block exchange

I got the last block yesterday, laying them out they are spectacular and I think I found out the way I will finish them. Maybe will try one tonight. Thanks to all it has been fun. Pat

:o( I'm still short 3 blocks. I agree, all of the blocks I have received are just Wonderful...All Of Them!
I will probably spend some time playing with sashing and arrangement but I will be looking forward to putting it together.

Hoping to find blocks when I return home on Monday. Can't wait to get home, I'm homesick. I'll think about putting them together then. It always amazes me how different one block can look with just fabric changes. Each block I have received is so unique.

I too am missing 3 blocks. Have them all hanging on my design wall and so far just thinking about how I want to finish them.

I'm short 2 blocks. The ones I've received so far are all beautiful and I've been working on ideas for them. I've got to finish my niece's quilt first though, before I get side tracked.

1block will be sent no later than November 9. I'm still waiting to hear from one last person. Once we receive the last two blocks you will have a total of 16 blocks.

I'm also looking forward to getting the last of the blocks. I've been working on my quilt thus far. Not this past weekend though. I have been cleaning out closets and drawers. I'm amazed how much stuff I can collect.

All of the blocks have been BEAUTIFUL!!!! - each one of them. I know when I did my first exchange - I was intimidated by the work of others but with practice my blocks are getting better.

We must remember we were all beginners at one point. Each is very special in the memory of this past year which has been difficult but I am back in the sewing room and getting ready to go on my fall retreat. I just need to figure out what I am going to work on. Its a UFO retreat.
