~The Kansas Sampler~

O.K. Kansas....I haven't visited the site in a while but thought some might be interested in this site...
It's called the Kansas Sampler - 8 Wonders in Different Categories....Check them all, you'll enjoy seeing what Kansans voted for in each category....
You'll probably not remember me, but I hail from Leavenworth, and came back for my 50th Class Reunion last year.....but whatever....Enjoy!

Choctaw - good to see you! So when you were back for the 50th - what had changed the most? Or had things changed at all?

Good to see you back. Hope that you enjoyed your reunion, and the return to Kansas. I used to go to Leavenworth back in the 1970's with some work for the Chamber of Commerce. Last year I went for the Leavenworth Men's Barbershop Chorus program. I barely recognized the town.

Hi again everyone.....Nothing much had changed when I was back their last year. If anything,
the streets seemed to be narrower than they were when I was a kid growing up there. I also
have always liked the fact that the K.C. Airport is so close to Leavenworth.....Also had a chance
to check out "Legends" while I was there.....very nice indeed. The Kansas Speedway has done
wonders for that area....I'll be looking to go back again sometime in March....
