Hey, Blossom! It is a good one....if I can tear myself away from the hot spiced cider!!!! LOL
(And yes, we have Starbucks in Alaska).
You peeking in while working, Bloss?
Oops! No Honeybee,,,,I am just home puttering around the house. Been sick couple days, broke down went to the Dr. yesterday and found out I have pneumonia in my left lung! No wonder I was coughing for 4 days, SOB (short of breath). LOL Dr. gave me an injection of Rocephin in the booty and then started me on Zpack , cough med. and prednisone. I feel 90 % better today.
You're doing better than we are in my town, HB... LOL
There are Starbucks in Louisiana... just not here.
Can you believe I have NEVER had Starbucks of ANY kind?... Just could never bring myself to spend $6 for a cup of coffee!
Glad you're feeling better, Blossom!
About carving pumpkins... I carved one EVERY year until about the last 2 or 3 years... My kids are too old to trick-or-treat anymore, so I gave it up.
Don't hand out candy either because I live in an older neighborhood, and there are no trick-or-treaters here anymore... They all go to the newer subdivisions.
AND... Since there are no trick-or-treaters, there is no reason to decorate... Besides, it looks haunted enough around here... I guess trick-or-treaters don't like authenticity... LOL

We always carve at least 2 pumpkins for the front deck. We totally go out decorating the front deck, front door & inside the house. We are always have a halloween party for adults after the kids are gone out.
We bob for apples, dress up, have all kinds of treats. Deviled eggs with eyes, wormie cupcakes, carmel apples, popcorn balls, etc.
May the kid in me never grow up.
I am going to be a cow this year, the costume even has udders, which should be fun.
I have just moved into a retirement community and I doubt very much that I will see Trick or Treaters. I will not buy candy since I will eat IT. I have tried locking it in the car at night. I still run out in the night to grab a piece. So no candy this year.
Sorry you are not feeling well blossom.......I'm just getting over that and it was not fun......get well real soon
Hope you're feeling better blossom. A lot of people seem to have the bug.
I do buy candy to give out since there are lots of kids in my neighborhood. I haven't carved a pumpkin in a couple of years, but do have one that lights up.
Take care of yourself blossom. I usually carve a pumpkin, but they are about $5.00 this year. So just have a scarecrow hanging on the door. I am wearing all black today, maybe it will evolve into something fun. Our temperatures are 20 degrees below normal..but I will get a bag a candy to give out tomorrow night. Happy Boo Day to all!

Pneumonia is tricky, Blossom. Good thing you went to the docs (I stay away from them myself). Be a good patient and get all better.
