I agree. I usually get tired of looking after the first 5 to 8 pages!!!! and just settle on something. Would be nice to have it set up like the gifts, in catagories.
Well i would like to figure out how to manever the gallery most effectively
i am getting a bit frustrated
also where can one go on here to learn how to manipulate said options
once manipulated if end product is significantly different enough to be to all of your liking for said newness per chance then how might i package new design and offer it up if that is possible
I love design and am rather in great want for some new skills
Skins look so inviting, can't wait to dig right in
Good one, Tallbob! You may see it again some time....;-)
Just the way the recession has turned some people into hoarders, I have become that with Skins. I go to the skins gallery just about every day, and using the "most recent" category, look at the latest submissions.
I try the ones that look good to me, then store the ones I like in my own gallery. That way I am building a collection of designs I like, and can go back to in some future date. In the big file, there are over 4200 images now. In my own, there are only 20+ That's a much more manageable amount, and I can delete as I may so desire.
Happy shopping, Neighbors!
I think some criticism needs to be leveled at skin creators who have used symbols to get their skins at the beginning of the alphabetical list.
I have devised an imperfect method of finding what I want using the alphabetical list but it involves changing the page number in the address bar.
I think that before skins are submitted to the gallery renaming them suitably needs to be considered. It may well be that A37 is a good name for some but something more descriptive like oak_tree_Richmond would probably better suit the majority.
Eons Skins Index group:
view link might help a bit (tho it's not current),and Friends and Skins
view link is a group where you can discuss and find other skins.
