Reality is what I crack my head against when I wander too far down these metaphysical byways of mine.
RichardRoot says,
Are rainbows real? Or are they an illusion?
Is "Hnmh?" real?
I learned in 5th grade that rainbows are made of physical refracted light particles which are measurable.
Yes, Virginia, clouds are also real, along with shadows, reflections, and that funny little "heat shimmer" on summer sidewalks.
Now, an example of what??

Reality only waves. Particles are figments of imagination--Seriously. Why do physicists insist one and the other are the same until magicked into separation? I don't get it. It's child's play. I guess this makes me a self absorbed two yea...
Particles and waves are the same thing looked at from different angles. So are mass and energy. And rainbows are real, but only from a certain point of view.
On an earlier post someone asked what happens to the hole in a Swiss cheese when the cheese is gone. The hole is empty space, which is eternal. Only the illusion of the cheese has gone. One day the illusion of me will be gone, and only the space between my molecules will remain.
