I don't buy organic fruit and veggies. I feed mine what I eat after washing.
Our two get stuff grown in the USA OR on our own three acres. Rosco likes carrots - actually, he likes to tear them up more than consume them. With his mis-formed beak, it's about all he's ever managed to use to satisfy his craving to chew things. But he does eat a bit of it as well as some apple and grapes.
Buster has some apple every day and he loves raw potato and cucumber. He'll eat peach, but not unless it's dead ripe. He'll eat other things too - when he takes a notion to. He's nuts about cooked onions. Go figure! And Buster likes meat too!

Our babies love grapes and bananas. Two of our parrots love dried fruit, like mangos and banana chips and raisins. No sulfur or preservaties. We have one Amazon that is very picky about his snacks but our other Amazon and Conure will eat just about anything you give them.
I could never get any of my birds to eat dried fruits or veggies. It absolutely has to be fresh for them. Not sure what the problem is for them with the dried.
I've had three good vets tell me "not so heavy with the fruit". The feeling is that the birds don't need an excess of sugars. I will say that this new kid of ours will gleefully try ANYTHING I put in front of him! I hope he stays with that sort of variety. He loves pomegrante - it's a good thing I painted the walls with messy parrots in mind!
